at Hungry Hill Meadow

Our beautiful Stargazer Belle Tent is available to hire for nights under the stars.

This tent is perfect for our 'dark skies' region and for fans of astronomy who have a penchant for gazing at the night sky.

What to expect

Hidden away from the hustle and bustle at Hungry Hill Meadow, the Stargazer is located in undisturbed and unspoilt meadowland. 

There’s an electricity supply so lighting and heating are available for keeping cosy on chilly evenings.

It features a transparent roof, which means you can enjoy an amazing view of the heavens. It has 360 degrees of transparent panels located around the roof canopy to give the best view of the sky.

A firepit is available for gathering around under the stars and our Stargazer comes with the support of Robin, our trusty vintage caravan, that provides kitchen facilities and indoor seating.

What we provide

  • Toilet

  • Hot shower

  • Basic kitchen facilities (crockery, cutlery, kettle, fridge, microwave, cooking hob, toaster)

  • Hot and cold drinks

  • Small double sofa bed

  • One basket of wood and firelighters for the firepit (additional wood can be purchased, if required)

What you need to bring

  • Food

  • Bedding – sleeping bag, camp bed, etc.

  • Towels for showering

  • Camping chairs

Really lovely, spacious bell tent in quiet rural location, near all of North East Norfolk's scenic attractions. Sue is a welcoming, practically helpful host. Clean facilities with plentiful hot water for the shower & an excellent small caravan with kitchenette for light self-catering. Many thanks!

Important information

Due to the proximity to livestock and our rural location, unfortunately, we do not allow the following when you hire our Stargazer:

  • Dogs

  • Parties or Hen/Stag groups

In addition, the Stargazer can only be booked by adults - any campers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
