at Hungry Hill Meadow

Our two authentically built and fully insulated Shepherd’s Huts, Halcyon & Galahad, each accommodating two people from late March to October.
Our huts
Situated at Hungry Hill Meadow, our site is a very rural location with beautiful walks close by. We are just a 20 minute walk to the beach at Overstrand and only a 10 minute walk to the village pub, The Foundry Arms, where great food is served. Our shepherd’s huts do not have ensuite facilities. There is a shower and toilet and washing up area nearby. Limited Wi-Fi is available in both huts.
Our Shepherd’s Huts are especially well suited to those travelling on their own as our site at Hungry Hill Meadow is small, safe and friendly - we are always on hand, if needed. Our huts are full of charm and come with freestanding heaters, making them extra cosy in cooler months.
For bookings of four or more nights, there is a 10% discount, and one well-behaved dog is welcome in Galahad.
Arrival times are between 4pm and 7pm. Please depart by 10am on day of departure.
Galahad
Accommodates two adults in a double bed, and the option of one child in a trundle bed. Included in your booking:
Electric hob, small fridge, kitchen utensils and crockery, electric kettle and toaster
Pantry supplies including tea, coffee, sugar, oil, salt and pepper
Double bed and linen
Flat screen TV with DVD player, electric power points, and Wi-Fi
Outdoor picnic bench
Costs
£90 per night for 2 people, with a minimum 2 night stay
£10 per booking for a child using the trundle bed
£5 per night for 1 well behaved dog

Halcyon
Accommodates two adults. Included in your booking:

Costs
£80 per night, for 2 people, with a minimum 2 night stay. Dogs are not permitted to stay in Halcyon.
Super cute and comfortable with plenty of blankets to keep cozy.

Important information
Our huts can only be booked by adults - anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The charging of electric vehicles is not permitted on-site.
Our Shepherd’s Huts are accessed via three steep steps each.
