On the eve of the summer solstice, join Val in the Stargazer for a mesmerizing mermaid workshop. Val is a co-author of the acclaimed Mermazine (a British Folklore published by Ikeney Press).

Val will share an abundance of mermaid wisdom, including history, folklore and magical tales (and tails!). There will be mermaid themed crafting and a pathworking activity. The focus of the day will be on how mermaids can inspire us.

Val is the author of a number of books, including Chalk & Flint – A Way of Norfolk Magic, Bounded in a Nutshell and Hallowtide – A Dark Devotional. She is a much loved regular speaker at our Big Norfolk Sky Women’s Camps and practices as a medical and magical herbalist. Val lives in Norfolk and loves sharing her enthusiasm for the county’s plants and creatures and for the magic which thrives in this sacred landscape.

All materials are included.

You’ll spend the day in our beautiful Stargazer bell tent, tucked away in rural North Norfolk, surrounded by meadow, woodland, magpies and hares.

There’ll be a break during the afternoon and you'll need to bring your own chair to sit on. Our site has parking and toilets.
